New glazing cell recently started up at Sanikey’s “fifth plant” based in Istanbul, bringing to 5 the total number of SACMI RobotGlaze solutions installed at the various production plants of the Group since 2008
Sanikey Seramik has further expanded robotized glazing of sanitaryware thanks to the purchase of new SACMI-Gaiotto solutions, as part of its optimization and development plan for its well-known sales brand Bocchi-Il bagno per tutti.
Tested and started up at its production plant in Istanbul – Sanikey’s “fifth plant” – the new GA2000 robot supplied, brings to 5 the total number of SACMI RobotGlaze machines installed at the various factories of the Group since 2008.
The new glazing cell is provided with a 4-position carousel. All the glazing and handling operations are performed automatically by an 8-axis robot.
The solution supplied is equipped with all the latest generation SACMI systems; such as Mass Control®, to control the flow-rate of the glaze applied, and the 2 GDA80 spray-guns which are renowned throughout the industry for their efficiency and minimal maintenance requirements.
The constant and repeatable quality of the glazing operations, together with the optimization of glaze consumption – thanks to a dry filtering system for overspray recovery – represent the main benefits for the customer. With this latest investment Sanikey has confirmed its close partnership with SACMI to continue its plans for development and growth on international markets.
