Visitors to the SACMI Packaging & Chocolate stand (Hall 8, Stand 8C24) can look forward to a world-first preview of the new TF12 Small, a compact yet highly versatile machine that meets the specific needs of fruit and vegetable packaging and other industrial sectors.
The TF12 Small is an open box, platform and corrugated cardboard citrus fruit tray forming machine, ideal for packaging dates or other fruits and vegetables. Thanks to outstanding compactness, this forming machine can handle a broad range of sizes, from small formats to standard-sized boxes, with output rates of up to 40 trays per minute.
This machine - an evolution of the well-established TF12 standard - features optimized design that reduces overall dimensions yet maintains the same components as the standard version, thus simplifying management and maintenance.
SACMI set itself the design goal of replicating all the advantages of the TF 12 - a long-standing market benchmark - on a more compact machine in order to further expand opportunities for the sector.
Key advantages of the solution include versatility (simple trays, open top-trays, trays with upper containment flaps), easy adjustment for fast format changeovers and, with the new Small version, standardised components for more streamlined spare parts management.
