Guangzhou (18–21 June 2025). New technologies for hyper-productive, smart, sustainable ceramic manufacturing: from forming to firing and digital decoration, SACMI presents cutting-edge technological and plant engineering solutions that deliver unrivalled productivity and quality
SACMI returns to Ceramics China 2025 to present the best of its integrated ceramic manufacturing range. The star of the show? The SACMI easy Factory, a combination of hyper-productivity, low consumption, and process digitalization that results in a smart, competitive, sustainable ceramic factory and unrivalled technical/aesthetic product quality.
Slab and tile forming: Continua+ and PHC Red Edition®
With over 200 plants sold worldwide, Continua+ continues to be the leading large slab and sub-size production technology. Visitors to the fair will have a great opportunity to see the new high-speed configuration, now available on all Continua+ versions: output rates of 35,000 m²/day, minimum consumption during compaction (just 0.04 kWh/m²) and outstanding size versatility (thickness 3-30 mm, fired widths up to 200 cm).
Alongside the Continua+, we’ll also be presenting the PHC Red Edition®, a next-gen SACMI press produced at SACMI Nanhai that boosts speeds by 25% compared to the previous series and reduces energy and hydraulic oil consumption. Designed to optimize management of the market’s most popular sizes, the Red Edition® series features advanced sensors and digital controls that streamline workers’ tasks and make the entire process more efficient, in keeping with Industry 4.0 principles.
FMN kiln: outstanding efficiency and firing uniformity
The new FMN single-layer roller kiln is SACMI's response to the need for uniform firing, low consumption and optimized performance. Meticulously designed combustion and ventilation systems allow accurate control of thermal profiles and, therefore, their adaptation to both large slabs and traditional sizes, reducing emissions and raising final quality: a solution that delivers excellent versatility and performance, whatever the product type, with all the quality and reliability one expects from SACMI.
‘Full digital’ decoration and finishing
With Deep Digital, SACMI provides an integrated, fully digital decoration line that combines dry and wet applications (DHD + DDG) to deliver unrivalled textures and aesthetics. By applying the new Continua+ powder loading systems (V-Nature), manufacturers can obtain perfectly coordinated on-surface and in-body effects to replicate the texture and aesthetics of natural materials.
Sanitaryware and Tableware. Quality, automation and sustainability
SACMI's comprehensive sanitaryware and tableware offering will play a key role at Ceramics China. Spanning from high-pressure casting to robotic glazing and automatically controlled handling, SACMI systems are designed to maximize process consistency and repeatability, optimize use of resources and improve working conditions while prioritizing product quality.
The automation of logistics
Integration between production departments and internal logistics adds a further dimension to the SACMI ceramic plant. With automatic warehouses, AGVs, robot-controlled automatic packaging and palletization, real-time supervision and tracking software, SACMI intralogistics takes the ceramic factory to the next level, eliminating downtime and ensuring uninterrupted human-machine interfacing to achieve intelligently controlled production flows.
Excellent production and service from SACMI Nanhai
