Tableware glazing presents a unique set of challenges due to the diverse shapes, technologies and production volumes in¬volved. However, the comprehensive range of solutions and technologies offered by SAMA-SACMI caters to all customer requirements.
SAMA’s renowned dip glazing technology is particularly suitable for the two main categories of tableware; flat and deep plates, on the one hand, and bowls, cups and mugs on the other.  
TRIPLEX is SAMA’s flagship solution for the dip glazing of plates, ensuring a high-quality glazed product in a single process. Then comes MONO10T Evolution, which represents the latest development in au¬tomatic dip glazing for cups, mugs and bowls. This machine stands out for its modular design and is the successor to Sama’s previous MONO10T, a market benchmark for 20 years.
In addition to the Triplex and Mono solutions, de¬signed to handle large volumes and easily integrated with industrial automated systems, Sama also offers DUO, a highly versatile stand-alone machine suitable for glazing any type of article and conceived for testing and for use with small batches.
Dip-glazing, however, is not the only solution available to Tableware producers, who can also explore with SAMA the opportunities to apply robotized spray-glazing to tableware manufacture. Assisted by SACMI-Gaiotto robots, COLORFLEX represents the ideal response to the need for versatility in a constantly evolving market, closely linked to the growing demand for glazed and decorated stoneware products.     
Both glaze spraying and support cleaning operations are performed fully automatically by robots, thus facilitat¬ing and speeding up product size change-over.  An interesting solution both from the point of view of the production process – maximum flexibility regardless of the shape of the article and the production technology used (single or double-firing) – and in terms of optimizing glaze consumption.
