SACMI @ Ceramic Expo Bangladesh 2025

SACMI @ Ceramic Expo Bangladesh 2025

From 27 to 30 November, International Convention City Bashundhara, Dhaka: against the backdrop of a steadily growing market, the focus will be on new technological and plant engineering solutions that raise productivity and performance while reducing consumption and environmental impact.

Driven by domestic demand, Bangladesh’s ceramic industry keeps on growing. With a portfolio of consolidated projects and strong sales performance among leading local producers, SACMI returns to Ceramic Expo Bangladesh (International Convention City Bashundhara, Dhaka, 27-30 November 2025) to showcase its full range of tile, sanitaryware and tableware technology.
Quality and performance, reliability, lower consumption and less environmental impact are SACMI's hallmarks. At Dhaka, the company will be displaying high-performance, hyper-productive, sustainable ceramic technology that delivers unrivalled technical and aesthetic qualities.

New Continua+ ‘Hyper Speed’

With over 200 lines sold worldwide, Continua+ is the global benchmark for the manufacture of ceramic tiles and slabs. Now, the entire range is available in a hyper-fast configuration that yields output rates of over 35,000 square meters per day: an opportunity that builds on well-established Continua+ advantages such as the outstanding quality of the compaction process, low specific consumption (<0.04 kWh/m2) and flexible control of thickness (from 3 to 30 mm) and size. What’s more, a compaction front up to 200 cm wide is now available.

‘Full digital’ decoration and finishing

SACMI's exclusive Deep Digital DHD+DDG solutions allow for the combined application of glazes, inks, effects and materials, taking the uses and functionality of ceramic products to a whole new level. Working in synergy with new filling devices on Continua+, these solutions give products unrivalled aesthetic, material and textural effects that can imitate natural marble, stone and wood to perfection.

To complete this offering, customers can rely on BMR finishing solutions (squaring, polishing, lapping), again with exclusive, groundbreaking process control, higher performance, a smaller footprint, less consumption and, of course, user-friendly management.

PHC ‘Red Edition’: high speed and low consumption

Boosting productivity while cutting consumption is a key goal of the SACMI easy Factory. Moreover, with the new SACMI PHC Red Edition press range, improvements such as these also apply to traditional pressing. PHC Red Edition boosts output rates by up to 25% compared to previous models. It also lowers power consumption while delivering unmatched reliability (thanks to solid construction), high-quality components, connectivity and sophisticated controls that simplify operation and maintenance.
PHC Red Edition combines innovation, sustainability and lasting value. The range – up to 8,200 tons – is capable of meeting any production requirement, and offers unrivalled versatility on emerging formats such as 60x120, 120x120, 75x150, 80x160, 90x180 and 120x180 cm.

New single-layer roller kiln: competitiveness and performance

Italian quality and engineering, and locally made components: the new single-layer roller kiln incorporates all the best features of SACMI's Maestro range, already a market benchmark with hundreds of machines installed worldwide by major players. Highly configurable, this kiln meets every production requirement. Thanks also to a generous as-standard set-up that includes inverter fans and insulating blocks for the vault, it reduces both consumption and maintenance.

This kiln is also designed for the installation of hot air recovery systems, making it possible to run the single-or multi-tier dryer with ‘zero fuel’. Maximum versatility to cope with specific production scenarios is a key feature of these solutions, which can run on natural gas but also lean gas, diesel or dual fuel as required.

Sanitaryware and tableware

Quality, outstanding process consistency and optimization of resources are the hallmarks of SACMI's sanitaryware and tableware technology which, in Bangladesh, continues to play a crucial role in key projects with the industry’s leading players.
With SACMI systems, reliability and performance go hand in hand with outstanding configurability to match specific production requirements. Extensive customization is offered across the entire range of sanitaryware casting, glazing and firing technologies, ensuring unrivalled product quality and better working conditions for personnel.
At the same time, the pressing, jiggering, glazing and firing solutions supplied by the SACMI network of tableware companies went from strength to strength in 2025 when Lippert - a historic German brand that provides automation and technology - became part of the SACMI family.
