Limitless speed and quality. SACMI @ Indian Ceramics 2025

All the latest for higher quality, better aesthetics, unmatched productivity, sustainability, competitiveness and customization, from the new Hyper Speed version of the Continua+ to service and direct production. Dateline: 5-7 March 2025 at the Helipad Exhibition Centre in Gandhinagar, India

At Indian Ceramics, SACMI will be showcasing a complete range of future-focused forming, firing, body preparation, decoration, finishing and logistics solutions: exclusive, sustainable, hyper-productive technologies that build value into ceramic products by delivering unrivalled technical and aesthetic qualities. With, of course, the added value of SACMI Engineering services, from direct machine production to customer support.

Unmatched productivity with Continua+ ‘Hyper-Speed’

With 200 lines sold worldwide, Continua+ is the market’s gold standard. A solution that, as of today, is even more powerful and productive thanks to the ‘Hyper-Speed’ configuration that can raise productivity - on all solutions in the range - to more than 30,000 m2 per day. These latest upgrades build on well-established Continua+ advantages such as the outstanding quality of the compaction process, ultra-low consumption, and extremely versatile thickness (from 3 to 30 mm) and size control. What’s more, a compaction front up to 200 cm wide is now available.

New powder filling devices: nature, made ceramic

Cutting-edge technologies allow Continua+ users to manufacture products with unrivalled aesthetic and natural effects. Thanks to new filling devices, the release of colored powders onto the Continua+ compactor belt puts the decoration directly in the slab body. Seamless coordination with SACMI Deep Digital, DHD and DDG applications matches surface and in-body decoration perfectly, replicating the aesthetics and three-dimensionality of natural materials such as marble, stone and wood.
This unique technology - which SACMI completes with BMR finishing solutions (squaring, polishing, lapping), which again feature highly innovative process control, enhanced performance, less bulk and lower consumption - gives manufacturers the opportunity to extend the scope and function of their ceramic products to encompass everything from wall linings to furniture and even furnishing accessories.

PHC Red Edition: speed and low consumption

A new addition to the SACMI PHC press range, the SACMI PHC Red Edition boosts output rates by up to 25% compared to previous models. It also offers low power consumption, alongside unmatched reliability (thanks to solid construction), high-quality components, connectivity and sophisticated controls that simplify operation and maintenance.
The range – up to 8,200 tons – is capable of meeting any production requirement and offers unrivalled versatility on emerging formats such as 60x120, 120x120, 75x150, 80x160, 90x180 and 120x180 cm. PHC Red Edition merges innovation, sustainability and lasting value with all the benefits that stem from having a sole provider for production and after-sales service.

New roller kiln: competitiveness and performance

Italian quality, engineering and locally made components: the new single-layer roller kiln incorporates all the best features of SACMI's Maestro range, already a market benchmark with hundreds of machines installed worldwide by leading industry players. Offering excellent versatility in terms of width and length, the kiln meets all production requirements. High-performance and competitive, it reduces consumption and maintenance, thanks also to a generous as-standard set-up that includes inverter fans and insulating blocks for the kiln vault.
This kiln is also designed for the installation of hot air recovery systems, making it possible to run the single-layer or multi-tier dryer with ‘zero fuel’. Maximizing versatility across a broad range of production scenarios, it is designed to run on natural gas, but also lean gas, fuel oil or dual fuels depending on requirements.

Direct production and cutting-edge services with SACMI Engineering

SACMI Engineering has many years’ manufacturing experience. In India, it leads the way in direct technology production and customer support services. ATI spray dryers, entirely ‘Made in India’, offer a perfect example: over 190 have been supplied worldwide, 140 of them in India alone; dryers are also manufactured in-country. SACMI's expertise and experience in designing such machines allow extensive customization, from sizing to fuel type. They also provide opportunities for incorporating systems that retrieve hot air from the kiln, reducing consumption and improving the factory's energy balance.
The new Tiles technical hub and service center in the heart of the Morbi district, home to almost 90% of the country's ceramic factories, has been operational since April 2024. Its primary mission is to stay close to customers and provide everything from technical support to training. It completes the SACMI hubs on this strategic market – Morbi, Mumbai and Ahmedabad, together with the new warehouse in Delhi – with a team of over 175 people. A further after-sales hub is being set up in the south of India to provide customers with even better, closer, faster service.
