Indian beverage player installs a new line to accelerate its transition to the new 26/22 mm standard. Managing Partner Mr. Chetan Khanpara: “We’re excited to see SACMI technology bringing such outstanding added value as it allows us to adopt innovative solutions to meet new market challenges”
Davat Beverages - a leading industry player based in Gujarat, India - recently started up a new SACMI CCM32 line for the production of GME30.41 closures. This investment is a major step forwards for the company and comes just as the beverage industry is accelerating towards the new, lighter, higher-performing 26/22 mm neck standard.
The new GME30.41 caps produced with SACMI compression molding technology ensure high efficiency, reducing consumption of virgin resins but without compromising quality. This solution takes Davat Beverages into the future by responding to the industry’s need for sustainability and innovation.
“Partnering with SACMI gives us the opportunity to adopt innovative solutions that boost our production efficiency and respond to new challenges in the industry” stated Mr. Chetan Khanpara, Managing Partner of Davat Beverages. “We’re excited about this latest phase and the value this technology will bring to our company”.
The project is a major milestone for both companies. It consolidates SACMI’s operations on the Indian market, led by SACMI Engineering, and puts Davat Beverages, increasingly focused on cutting-edge production solutions, on a steeper growth curve.
It also highlights SACMI’s role as a pivotal partner that is steadily outlining the future of beverage packaging. It does this by providing customers with profitable solutions and winning technologies, helping them transition according to the market’s highest standards of quality and innovation.
