We look at all the Customer’s needs and organise them as the basis of the project. We then merge and cross this information with our own research and info database to establish guidelines for a more
efficient design.

WHERE WE START

We start with the analytical information and begin developing the product.

WHAT WE DO

Gather information about similar or related products already on the market, list technical requirements and performance, evaluate cycle time and machine/mold costs.

WHAT WE PROVIDE AT THE END OF THIS STAGE

Preparation of creative concepts with hand sketches or other graphic design tools to begin discussions with the Client.

WHERE WE START

We start with the outline sketches and consult with the Customer on product development.

WHAT WE DO

We seek the best fitting proposal in relation to the design concept. Variables considered:
• interactions betweeen product, package and process
• technical development
• material selection
• weight optimization

WHAT WE PROVIDE AT THE END OF THIS STAGE

An initial feasibility study for packaging design, materials and machine technology.

WHERE WE START

Assessment of the previously defined product specifications in relation to its design.

WHAT WE DO

FEM simulation of specific characteristics such as resistance to top load and pressure.

WHAT WE PROVIDE AT THE END OF THIS STAGE

Confirmation of the design concept or, if necessary, review of the technical process definition.

WHERE WE START

We begin with the previously validated 3D model

WHAT WE DO

Production of the mock-up and aesthetic-ergonomic package assessment.

WHAT WE PROVIDE AT THE END OF THIS STAGE

3D-printed mock-ups to produce an initial three dimensional experience of the design.

WHERE WE START

We gather all the agreed data and drawings in a single report which forms the basis of final product design.

WHAT WE DO

Together with the Customer, we prepare all the information for prototyping. A design review looks at all the relevant topics and checks that all requested specifications have been complied with.

WHAT WE PROVIDE AT THE END OF THIS STAGE

We draw up an internal definition document with all the info needed to activate production; this includes timeframes, as well as sample delivery schedules.
