From cap and preform production to quality control and advanced automation, world-beating technology provider SACMI is taking the industry towards new standards of sustainability, performance and product aesthetics. In Bangkok, 11-14 June 2025 (Hall 101, Stand AE32)
SACMI will soon be back in the spotlight at ProPak Asia (Bangkok, 11-14 June 2025), South-East Asia’s premium packaging event, to showcase market-ready solutions that make production increasingly sustainable, efficient and intelligent.
Complete rigid packaging solutions
Everything, from cap and preform production to process control and advanced automation: thanks to an integrated platform that covers every stage of production, SACMI is a unique, all-round technology partner.
More specifically, SACMI provides customers with targeted solutions that ease the transition to the highest standards of system competitiveness and sustainability.
Thanks to an in-depth understanding of materials and processes, SACMI develops customized solutions to lighten the neck-cap system, in compliance with the highest functional and aesthetic requirements.
Alongside product consultancy, SACMI provides a complete, increasingly advanced, high-productivity, digitally controlled technological range that spans from CCM (continuous compression molding) cap presses to IPS preform presses.
In the alu caps sector, the focus is on a PVC-free transition, with SACMI liner production and application solutions already leading the way on global markets.
CHS: pioneering quality control for plastic caps
Visitors to ProPak Asia 2025 will also have an opportunity to see SACMI’s CHS system for the in-line or offline inspection of plastic screw caps.
CHS delivers high output (4,500 caps/min, up to 270,000 caps/hour), powered by a system of HD acquisition devices with up to 7 cameras that can be configured to inspect both the functional and visible areas of the cap.
The key strength of CHS is its ability to reconstruct the image in 3D, allowing it to detect defects of any type, even on complex shapes. Alongside slit inspection, reading of the number of cavities for statistical analysis and selective rejection, the system also has new lighting systems that are optimized for tethered caps.
The CHS system can be installed in-line on presses and assembly machines or operate in stand-alone mode. Versatile, modular and precise, it’s designed to maximize quality, in compliance with the most stringent specifications required by the market.
Assistance at every stage of the project
With a direct presence in South-East Asia and comprehensive support – from design to development, from technical assistance to spare parts supply – SACMI provides advanced technology and product consultancy throughout the project to ensure customers always get the most out of their investment.
