SACMI D3 Qualitrack is the new SACMI solution for automatic inspection of sanitaryware to ensure accurate, objective and repeatable quality control.
Compared to inspection carried out by the human eye – even the most expert one - SACMI D3 Qualitrack eliminates any variability, thus optimizing time management and ensuring maximum sorting efficiency.
This system uses HD acquisition devices and operates according to a specific set of instructions or “recipe” dedicated to each product, picking up any surface defects, dimension anomalies or deformations in an objective way. The robot controls all piece handling operations, and the software platform compares the measured data against the expected parameters generating a report which can easily be consulted, even remotely.
One of the main advantages of D3 Qualitrack is the capacity to generate in real time a digital identity assigned to each piece to guarantee an objective classification process and complete traceability. In this way SACMI is focusing on an increasingly reactive management of the production process, to reach the objective of a “lights out factory”.
