With the launch of its new PHO700 isostatic press, SAMA achieves the status of exclusive supplier of horizontal isostatic presses able to produce articles with a diameter from 110 to 480 mm (unfired) and a height of 150 mm setting a new benchmark for the Tableware industry.
Just 50 tons more pressing force – compared to the previous version – make it possible to significantly widen the range of products which can be manufactured with this technology, including the special pieces increasingly in demand on the market, such as oven dishes, tall mugs etc.
Already supplied to some of the leading international manufacturers in the industry, the PHO 700 facilitates demoulding of heavy, wide and deep articles. Even for the widest pieces, other systems can be integrated downstream such as the RFM automatic finishing machine (for round pieces), the OFM (for round and non-round pieces) and, for the most complex shapes, the robotized ROF finishing solution, made in partnership with Gaiotto.
With the PHO700, a wider portfolio of technical solutions becomes possible in order to match all customer needs in all areas, from moulds to innovative linings. As with all the latest generation SAMA GREEN Series presses, the PHO700 prioritizes sustainability, with a reduction in energy consumption of up to 30% compared to traditional solutions.
