Sanindusa installs four new AVM modules. Worldwide sales now stand at 300

This latest delivery takes the number of AVM modules at the Tocha site to 20. Fully automated and connected to the LGV transport system, these latest modules further enhance Sanindusa's high-end market capabilities by delivering maximum versatility in the manufacture of all WC types. For SACMI, this marks the milestone of 300 sales worldwide, confirming AVM as a market favorite.

Specializing in the production of high-quality designer WCs and washbasins, Sanindusa has further expanded its production capacity and raised automation levels by adding a SACMI RobotCasting AVM station to its Tocha facility. Consisting of four AVM modules, this new station takes the total number of units working at Tocha to 20, boosting output capacity and versatility in response to new market trends.

For SACMI, this latest order is a milestone. It takes the global sales total to 300, confirming the AVM as the market's preferred choice on account of its ability to cast any type of WC at high output rates with consistent quality by providing an optimal balance of versatility and automation.
In particular, the station supplied to Sanindusa consists of two independent cells, allowing the manufacturer to manage four different WC types in parallel. Each cell has automatic article overturning devices, allowing flexible management of both floor-mounted and wall-hung WCs. All mold control, pre-dryer transfer and automatic on-car loading tasks are performed by robots, without any need for manual handling.

Another key feature of the extensive SACMI RobotCasting machine pool supplied to Sanindusa (together with the AVM, AVB, and ADM units for casting WCs, washbasins and tanks) is automated handling, with the entire transport phase being managed by three automatic LGVs. This means that the entire product flow - from casting to glazing - is automated. Unfired WC finishing has also been specially configured for Sanindusa to meet specific ergonomic criteria, minimize human intervention (simple piece cleaning and marking tasks) and eliminate any need to lift the item.

Sanindusa aims to respond to changes in market demand with solutions that meet the manufacturing needs of high-added-value products: this is achieved by using cutting-edge SACMI technology and automation at every stage of production, thus strengthening the long-standing partnership between the two companies. For SACMI, this milestone of 300 global installations confirms the AVM as an industry standard-setter that is driving 4.0 development within the industry by delivering advanced automation and versatility, and reducing the need for manual processing.
